Referral Program Terms

These terms govern participation in Footly's referral and affiliate program ("Program"). The Program is intended to reward direct referrals of real creators, not recruitment chains.

Eligibility

• One account per person; 18+; no self-referrals or fake traffic.
• You must remain approved and in good standing to earn commissions. Suspended, denied, or terminated affiliates are not eligible for new commissions.
• We may reject, withhold, or reverse rewards for violations, fraud, or abusive activity.

Rewards

• The Program currently rewards direct creator referrals only.
• Creator referrals earn 50% commission on eligible platform subscription payments made by the directly referred creator during the creator's first 12 months, measured from the creator's first platform subscription. This includes the initial payment and renewals (monthly or yearly) that occur within that window.
• Direct referrals only: the Program does not pay downstream, sub-affiliate, parent-affiliate, or multi-level commissions unless Footly separately agrees in a signed writing.
• Commissions require a valid direct referral, creator conversion, and an approved affiliate account at the time of the payment.
• Reward structure and rates may change with notice.
• Commissions become payable 15 days after the underlying payment (the clearing period for refunds, chargebacks, and review).
• Payments are subject to verification, payout schedules, and minimum thresholds.
• Commissions may be delayed, declined, or reversed for refunds, chargebacks, disputed payments, duplicate attribution, creator or affiliate suspension, ineligible transactions, tracking abuse, fraud, or legal/compliance concerns.
• Taxes: You are responsible for any taxes or reporting associated with rewards.

Attribution & Tracking

• Referrals are credited based on valid tracking, such as referral links, codes, or cookies. Blocked cookies, ad blockers, or altered links may prevent attribution.
• Referral cookies last 60 days from the most recent qualifying click. If a visitor clicks multiple affiliates' links, the most recent click wins. Once an account is created through a referral, it is permanently tied to the crediting affiliate.
• We may adjust or decline credit where tracking is incomplete, manipulated, or reasonably disputed.
• Footly's internal records are the source of truth for attribution, eligibility, commission amount, payout status, and reversals.

Prohibited Conduct

• Spam, misleading claims, or paid search on our branded terms.
• Impersonation of Footly or misrepresentation of features or pricing.
• False, exaggerated, or unsupported earnings claims. If you discuss earnings, you must make clear that results vary and are not guaranteed.
• Failure to clearly and conspicuously disclose that you may earn a commission when promoting Footly or sharing referral links.
• Cookie stuffing, forced clicks, bots, fake accounts, incentive abuse, self-referrals, or attempts to bypass tracking or eligibility rules.
• Recruiting affiliates primarily to earn from their referrals. The Program rewards direct creator referrals only.
• Any activity violating law or our Terms of Service.

Publicity & IP

Use of Footly brand assets must follow our brand guidelines. Do not register domains or social handles that could confuse users about our brand affiliation.

Changes & Termination

We may modify or end the Program at any time. Continued participation after changes constitutes acceptance. We may suspend or terminate your participation for any breach or suspected abuse.
